Detailed scope of work | - Removing non load-bearing wall joining a dining room and living area.
There is a non-load bearing wall separating the main living room and dining area off the kitchen. I will be removing this wall, and adding column fascia's to relocate and run existing electrical through attic, with the electrics being relocated onto the wall or column.
- Opening up top half of a living room wall to add open shelving, in between two columns.
As part of the above wall removal, there is an adjoining wall that is load bearing on each end. The load bearing columns will not be impacted, but I will be opening up a small area in between the two columns to add open shelving.
- Adding shower to a half-bathroom in the basement, and sealing up an un-needed doorway.
There is a half bathroom in the basement, which has a small storage room next to it. I will be opening the wall in between the two rooms, framing and sealing up the storage room door, then adding a standing double shower with two heads (rainfall and standard). This requires the concrete to be opened up, new plumbing to be installed and properly vented, water run above the ceiling to pass over to the shower, and all plumbing work completed by certified plumber. There will also be a water line run at the same time off the same water supply and routed to the inside wall of the garage. |
